Chennai, May 2025 – The vibrant city of Chennai witnessed an unforgettable celebration of motherhood with the grand success of the Iris Chennai Supermom 2025, held at Ampa Skyone Mall, Aminjikarai. The event organized by Iris Events brought together mothers from all walks of life for a day filled with fun, creativity, inspiration and empowerment.
This year’s competition received an overwhelming 1000+ response, with 200+ participants competing in a series of engaging and entertaining activities tailored for moms and their little ones, including Mother & child Fashion Show, Cookery Contest, Instagram Reel Challenge & Debate on Gentle Parenting, Saree Drapping etc.
Mrs. Neelima Esai – Actress, Entrepreneurs & Producer, Ms. Premi Venkat – Actress & News Reader, Mr. Bharath Kalyan – Actor & Singer and Mr.Rithesh D Sha – MD of Just Buy Cycles. Mr.Vicky Kapoor – Fashion Choreographer & Stylist , Ms.Pooja Ravi – Model & Mrs. India Winner & Mr. Munaf Rahman – Actor, Model, Mr Ajayan – Model & Actor, Ms Suja Suriya Nila – Model and Mr. Arvind Kathare – Actor & Model, Dr. Sumathi – founder of Mind Café, Ms. Premi Venkat, Ms. Neelima Esai & Ms. Anita Chandhoke – Influencer & Youtuber are attended the program at Ampa Skyone Mall.
- Savorit Pasta – Culinary Queen contest: Moms showcased innovative snacks using Savorit pasta. With over 50 participants, judged by a panel of culinary experts from Hotel Industry, the best 5 were shortlisted for a live quiz round and three winners were awarded by the Chief Guest Mrs. Neelima Esai – Actress, Entrepreneurs & Producer

- Mother & Child Fashion Show: This heartwarming segment was conducted in 2 categories:
Mom Junction – Look-A-like Contest – open to moms with kids under 2 years: Moms and their toddlers twinned in matching outfits and walked the ramp together. Judged by our special Jury Panel Mr. Arvind (Actor & Model) Ms.Pooja Ravi – Model & Mrs. India Winner & Mr. Munaf Rahman – Actor, Model & Winner of Iris Face of Chennai 2017
IRIS GLAM – Retro-Themed Contest – open to moms with kids above 2 years: Each mom and child duo dressed as iconic retro characters and performed a themed walk while presenting the character they portrayed and judged by Mr Ajayan – Model & Actor, Ms Suja Suriya Nila – Model, Actress & Iris Face of Chennai 2015 Winner.
Each category recognized three standout performers with Winner & Runners-up prizes.
Mom Junction – Look-Alike: Winner – Dr Chandini, 1st Runner-up – Adshatha, 2nd Runner-up -Swathi
IRIS GLAM – Retro – Themed: Winner – Kirthiga

- Mom Junction – Instagram Reel Challenge:
A pre-event digital contest, invited moms to create and share innovative reels. Winners were selected based on the creativity and shares each reel received by the deadline. The winners were awarded by our Chief guest Mrs. Premi Venkat.

- Debate on Gentle Parenting by Mind Cafe & Yuvathi (Happiness Matters)
This was a spontaneous, engaging session where moms participated in a live debate discussing gentle parenting. The Session was thoughtfully moderated by Dr. Sumathi – founder of Mind Cafe and Yuvathi and a counselor & our esteemed guest speakers Ms. Premi Venkat, Ms. Neelima Esai & Ms. Anita Chandhoke – Influencer & Youtuber. Participants who offered balance and impactful points were recognized and awarded.
Winners took home gold coin from Sultan Jewels, Bicycles from Just Buy Cycle, Gift Hampers from Savorit Pasta & Nutri Bs, Gift Vouchers from Lifestyle, Nails & Beyond, VLCC & Trophies.
