During this time , fruits and nuts are harvested and prepared to be a part of the traditional Christmas Plum Cake . Ramada Plaza Guindy made the event more interesting with their Christmas Themed Beverages , Santa Clausmopolitans , Gingerbread martini , Christmas Lights , Festive punch , The snow man and many more . Almost 60 kg of an assortment of dry fruits such as cashews , almonds , figs , apricots , raisins , black currants and a selection of premium liquor are mixed during the ceremony . These dry fruits are imbibed in the imported liquors , and beverages for around 40 days before baking begins . The guests were provided with chef hats , aprons and gloves . Mixing all the ingredients by hand was truly a traditional and unforgettable experience for all . A memory to be cherished forever
