Chargebee Chennai Runs 2024 Successfully Concludes, Supporting Education for Underprivileged Children

The third edition of Chargebee Chennai Runs 2024, organized by Madras Round Table 1 (MRT1), took place today at Olcott School, Besant Nagar. Over 10,000 participants ran across 3km, 5km, 10km, and 21.1km categories, demonstrating strong community support for promoting health and fitness while contributing to the upliftment of education for underprivileged children in rural Tamil Nadu.

The event, in collaboration with Bhoomika Trust, focused on improving educational infrastructure and creating holistic learning environments for students in rural areas. The funds raised through Chargebee Chennai Runs 2024 will go towards these ongoing efforts, aimed at enhancing the quality of education in underserved communities.

The spokesperson and Chairman of Madras Round Table 1 (MRT1), Dr. Varun Acharya, shared his thoughts on the event’s success, saying “We are elated with the overwhelming participation this year. Each runner has contributed not only to their own health but also to the collective goal of improving educational opportunities for children across Tamil Nadu. Events like this highlight how, as a community, we can unite for a cause that will leave a lasting impact on future generations. Mrs. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, accomplished Director, flagged off the 3K run, adding flair and excitement to the proceedings. Families, corporate teams, and individual runners alike participated with great enthusiasm, making this year’s event one of the most successful to date.
