Chennai, 2026: The Samatva Foundation (R) is set to present “Samatva Sambhrama 2026,” a prestigious two-day festival celebrating the richness and diversity of Indian classical music on August 5 and 6, 2026, at the iconic ChowdiahMemorial Hall, Bengaluru.
Organised under the Foundation’s vision of “Explore • Express • Embellish • Enhance,” the festival will bring together some of India’s most distinguished musicians for an extraordinary musical experience, offering audiences an opportunity to witness captivating performances spanning percussion, vocal, instrumental and ensemble presentations.
Day One – August 5
The opening evening will feature an exclusive Tabla Solo Recitalby internationally acclaimed tabla maestro Pandit Sri YogeshSamsi from 5.45 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
The celebrations will continue with “Strings Attached” from 7.15 p.m. to 9.15 p.m., featuring an exceptional ensemble comprising renowned violin maestro Vidwan Sri R. Kumaresh, eminent veena virtuoso Vidushi Dr Jayanthi Kumaresh, acclaimed percussionist Vidwan Sri K. Sai Giridhar, and Pandit Sri Yogesh Samsi, promising an unforgettable evening of melody, rhythm and artistic brilliance.
Day Two – August 6
The second day will begin with “Kashi Damaru“ from 5.30 p.m. to 6.45 p.m., presented by Vidwan Sri Jagadeesh D. Kurthkoti and team, showcasing the vibrant rhythmic traditions of Indian classical music.
The festival will culminate with a spectacular “Special Musical Confluence” from 7.15 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., featuring celebrated Carnatic vocalist Vidwan Sri Abhishek Raghuram, acclaimed musician Vidwan Sri Praveen D. Rao, renowned flautist Vidwan Sri Sruthi Sagar, distinguished Tavil maestroVidwanSri Mannargudi R. Vasudevan, and eminent mridangamartistVidwan Sri Anantha R. Krishnan.
