As part of the NPS Diwas 2026 campaign, the NPS Sanchay Yatra was flagged off on 1 October 2026 by Shri Sunil Kumar Yadav, Chief General Manager, LB & FI Wing, Canara Bank along with Shri Shrinath Joshi, General Manager & Convenor, SLBC Karnataka, Shri Subhash Khandelwal, Assistant Manager, PFRDA, Shri Vitala Gowda, Lead District Manager, Bengaluru Urban and other dignitaries. In Karnataka, the Yatra will travel across 15 districts of the State from 1st to 16th October 2026, spreading awareness about the National Pension System (NPS) and the importance of pension planning for a financially secure future.
Starting from Bengaluru, the NPS Sanchay Yatra covered Tumkuru (2nd Oct), Davanagere (3rd Oct), Ballari (4th Oct), Raichur (5th Oct), and will arrive Kalburgi (6th Oct), Vijayapura (7th Oct), Bagalakote (8th Oct), Belagavi (9thOct), Dharwad (10th Oct), Uttara Kannada (11thOct), Udupi (12th Oct), Dakshina Kannada (13thOct), Hasana (14th Oct) and Mysuru (15th Oct). During its visit, trained representatives will explain the features and benefits of NPS Sanchay, guide citizens on account opening and contributions, and answer their queries. Awareness material will be distributed, and officials of the Lead Bank of the District and other banks will be present to assist.
Citizens are invited to visit the Sanchay Yatra Van in large numbers, learn about NPS Sanchay and begin planning for a secure financial future. The media are requested to cover the event and help spread the message of pension awareness.
